Finnforest is merging its two sales divisions in Holland to create an integrated marketing organisation.
Finnforest Holland BV, which deals with plywood, Kerto LVL and other processed wood products, will join with Finnforest Timber Holland BV, the sales arm for sawn timber. The move is designed to improve customer service and provide a “one-shop” concept.
It follows Finnforest Corporation’s acquisition of all the outstanding shares of Finnforest Timber Holland BV. An official name of the new organisation, to be headed by George toe Laer, will be announced shortly. Deputy managing director is Oläv van Woudenberg.
