A Kerto LVL roofing system is to be supplied by Finnforest to the Kesko shopping centre in Karisto, Lahti.
A total of 22,000m² of roof will be covered using Kerto-Ripa elements spanning 12×2.5m.
The prefabricated elements incorporate the roof covering, thermal insulation and bottom lining plate.
“We chose Finnforest Kerto-Ripa because this solution will give us a finished roof for the entire centre at once,” said Ari Ojala, sourcing director of contractor SRV Business Premises Ltd.
The shopping centre construction began in February and is scheduled for completion this Christmas.
