DIY retailer Focus Wickes has announced plans for a flotation which could raise up to £1.5bn.
Goldman Sachs and ING Barings are joint co-ordinators for the float, expected to take place during the third quarter.
The company, which has 427 Focus and Wickes stores, plans to open 10 Focus and five Wickes stores annually over the next three years.
Its operating profits were up £33.7m to £106m last year, from sales of £1.46bn.
