One of the world’s largest single blocks of private forest has received independent environmental certification.
Nearly two million acres of timberlands in Oregon and Washington owned by Weyerhaeuser have been registered to the ISO 14001 international standard and the American Forest & Paper Association’s Sustainable Forestry Initiative.
To date, more than 23.7 million acres of Weyerhaeuser-managed timberland worldwide have been certified.
