Young foresters are being given the chance of securing a work placement in a foreign country through the Young Forester Award (YFA) for 2006.
The competition, run by the Commonwealth Forestry Association, is designed to support the professional development of foresters aged below 35 through work placement with an established forestry organisation.
Placements last between three to six months and are hosted by major timber companies, research organisations and NGOs.
