The current owner, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, is proposing to transfer ownership of the estate to Forestry Commission Scotland – a suggestion that has already attracted widespread support from organisations and local communities.
Now the views of the public and business is being cavassed on the subject. Any comments should be sent to David Jardine, Forestry Commission Scotland, Tower Road, Smithton, Inverness IV2 7N by September 30.
