The two latest garden timber firms to book for the September 17-19 show are Rotherham-based sheds and garden buildings manufacturer Shedlands and the Scottish Prison Service, a provider of timber fencing, gates and garden timber products to retailers.
The Scottish Prison Service has re-booked after a gap of three years with a view to driving new orders from garden centres and DIY stores.
Show organisers emap TPS said that demand for stand space at Glee 2006 is strong, with 70% of space in the timber trade’s location in the landscaping halls already booked.
Forest Garden, Finnforest, Grange Fencing and M&M Timber all booked early on the back of positive feedback from last year’s 25,157 Glee visitors who said the landscaping halls were among the show’s top attractions.
Another returning visitor to Glee is Cuprinol which aims to increase contact with timber product manufacturers and timber-related customers.
