Builder Center and Timber Center in Scotland have reorganised some branches in order to improve customer service.
In Glasgow, the two businesses have swapped premises and the company took the opportunity to refurbish and modernise both sites.
The move has improved transport and distribution links with Timber Center’s timber mill, providing faster turnaround and delivery times.
Sales director Ian Barton said: “The moves give immediate improvements in stock and services for our customers and also longer-term provide a strong basis for further expansion of our services for the region.”
Commenting on the expansion plans, a spokesperson said Timber Center was expanding “gradually and steadily” throughout the UK and it was the company’s intention “to do the same in Scotland”.
