Engineered wood panel manufacturer Nexfor has been given a new identity.
The Nexfor name has been replaced by Norbord as of July 1. The move follows the decision of Nexfor, Toronto to split the company into two separate businesses – a speciality papers and timberlands business called Fraser Papers and a wood-based panelboard business named Norbord Inc.
The Norbord name will be adopted at the company’s three UK sites – Cowie, Inverness and South Molton – which are otherwise unaffected by the change.
