Haldane UK‘s revolutionary approach to the architectural joinery market has earned it recognition from the Construction Best Practice Programme.
The government-backed programme has identified the Fife-based company as a leader in business improvement and will profile it in a publication due for release shortly.
Haldane was asked to contribute to the programme, which aims to help construction industry companies improve the way they do business, following its growth from 14 to 40 employees and an increase in turnover from £600,000 to one of almost £2.5m.
Success has been achieved through continued investment in timber machining technology and the creation of a highly efficient, lean manufacturing process.

Haldane’s managing director Forrester Adam said: “We are delighted to be profiled by the Construction Best Practice Programme and hope that other companies can benefit from our experiences.
“We consider this recognition to be a tremendous accolade for all our efforts, however, we recognise that you can never rest on your laurels and we will continue to look for new ways in which we can improve our efficiency and service to our customers.”
