Hall & Tawse Joinery has provided the majority of the manufactured joinery for the Queen’s Gallery project at Holyrood Palace.
The Aberdeen-based firm was commissioned to manufacture various bespoke items through parent company Mansell.
These included the fabric-clad exhibition walling finished with feature oak cornice and skirting; the removable oak glass display cases; the concealed jib door sets to the gallery floor areas; and the feature four metre high entrance lining gates.
All were made at the joinery workshop in Aberdeen and sent to Mansell’s fit out team for installation on site.
