Timber and fencing company Hawkins-Salmon has gone into administration after incurring significant losses.
The Manchester-based company, part of the Ensor Holdings building materials group, is now being handled by administrators Begbies Traynor.
Back in December Ensor said that Hawkins-Salmon had recorded significant losses for the six months ended September 30, 2008.
It said management difficulties at Hawkins-Salmon, its part relocation from Northamptonshire to Cheshire and a poor economic environment created the bad results, which impacted on group profits as whole.
But despite the appointment of a new management team and due to worsening economic conditions, the business failed to recover.
