Biomass-to-power company Helius Energy plc has appointed Oliver Blundell as feedstock director.
Mr Blundell previously held roles within the Cargill group and most recently was based in Geneva where he was responsible for developing fuel supply chains for planned biomass projects and assessing energy markets.
John Seed, managing director of Helius Energy, said: “Secure and sustainable sources of feedstock and fuel are essential to the success of any biomass project. We are delighted to welcome someone with Oliver’s experience to the Helius Team where he will expand on our existing work to build sustainable biomass supply chains.”
