The British Carpet Foundation is considering taking legal action against the Healthy Flooring Network (HFN) following revelations that Swedish laminate flooring company Pergo secretly funded its campaign against carpets.
The Foundation said this week it is waiting to hear lawyers’ recommendations before making a decision.
The HFN says it was misled over the source of £100,000 funding by intermediary New Harbour, a Swedish environmental consultancy.
