The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) is investigating the death of a worker at Ramsey Timber in Bradford.
The HSE has called in computer experts to examine a stacking machine which the man had been using when the accident occurred.
Meanwhile, a verdict of accidental death was recorded by a Newcastle coroner in the case of an SGS Timber Haulage driver who died while making repairs to his vehicle in Northumberland.
The man had been underneath his vehicle in an isolated lay-by when the jack slipped.
