Tariq Ahmad joins IDS as sales director, bringing over 30 years of sales experience in the construction industry. With a senior role at Twyford Bathrooms for 28 years and most recently serving as sales and marketing director at Polypipe building products, Mr Ahmad will lead sales strategies across IDS’s extensive product portfolio in laminates, worksurfaces, flooring, decorative panel, solid surface and wall panelling.
Chris Coxon has been appointed to the role of marketing and commercial director, having demonstrated a wealth of experience and strong track record in senior marketing roles over the past 15 years. His appointment underscores IDS’s commitment to driving business growth and brand awareness across its target markets and product categories.
Mr Coxon will oversee all marketing and customer experience functions, as well as product category management.
Prior to joining IDS Mr Coxon held senior roles as head of marketing at Algeco and group head of marketing at Eurocell, gaining in-depth experience of the building materials and construction sectors.
Stefanie Wright has been welcomed as IDS’s new finance director, bringing extensive expertise in the logistics and distribution sectors. With six years’ experience at NRS Healthcare, a leading provider of products and services for independent living, Ms Wright is well-versed in the requirements of private equity-backed businesses. Her finance career spans roles at British Midlands International and EasyJet, alongside employments with PE-backed Belrock and Phones 4U.
