More than 30 forestry companies in Indonesia face losing their industrial timber estate licences due to poor technical and financial performance.
Wahyudi Wardojo, secretary general of the Forestry Ministry, said the companies had failed to plant tree seedlings and repay loans from the reforestation fund.
