Six members of staff at JELD-WEN in Lowestoft have each clocked up more than 25 years’ service with the company – equating to 150 years at the timber components factory.
Chris Connellan, Paul Brundle, Terry Goldsby, Russell Whittaker, Sam Hart, and John Littlewood were given £300 towards a gift of their choice.
General manager Tom Horne said the company was delighted to reward staff in recognition of their long service.
“Although technology has really moved on in recent years with new machines and ways of working, our workforce has adapted to the changes to ensure our business continues to thrive. Good staff are the backbone of any organisation and without them we wouldn’t be able to build on our success,” he said.
