Jewson has entered the World Cup spirit with former England football captain Gary Lineker launching the company’s own television station throughout its 540-branch network.

Jewson TV will provide customers with news, information, weather updates and industry news while they shop, plus highlights of World Cup matches throughout the tournament.

Gary Lineker, who is presenting the BBC‘s World Cup coverage, signed a 12-month contract as the face of Jewson TV at the launch in Birmingham, attended by Jewson managing director Peter Hindle and sales and marketing manager Tony Newman.

‘Back office’ screens have also been installed at branches for staff and as a communication tool for suppliers.
