The move by Ireland-based Kingspan is part of a three-year strategy to reach an ouput of 20,000 timber frame and TEK Structural Insulated Panel homes by 2010.
TTJ reported last summer that Kingspan was preparing to make two acquisitions in a bid to consolidate the timber construction market.
Kingspan already owns Century Homes, Europe’s largest timber frame manufacturer.
