Scottish furniture retailer Landmark has called in receivers.
The company crashed just before Christmas after making losses of £4-5m in its last financial year. Receiver BDO Stoy Hayward subsequently opened six of the company’s 23 stores earlier this month.
News of the firm’s collapse has been greeted with widespread anger, with around 2,000 customers in Scotland having already paid deposits on furniture that they have not received.
