James Latham plc will be holding seminars and showing its timber products at a sustainable homes show in Somerset.

The company is a co-sponsor of the Homes for Good exhibition, organised by the Somerset Trust for Sustainable Development on February 17-19, 2006.

Lathams’ logo will appear on all show printed literature and around the exhibition venue itself, while samples will be on display from the company’s range of third party legally verified timber and panel products, including Stellac Wood and SGS sapele.

Group panel products director Chris Sutton said: “We are very pleased to be able to sponsor the exhibition, as Homes for Good perfectly mirrors our support as a company for sustainability and well-managed timber, which we have shown with our achievements of both FSC and PEFC status.”

Homes for Good is also sponsored by the Ecology Building Society and Somerset County Council. Channel 4‘s Grand Designs presenter Kevin McCloud has endorsed the show.
