Laver Timberworld director Stan Barrow is taking to the hills next month in aid of Help for Heroes.
Over four days Mr Barrow and his four team mates will cycle 215 miles on the Trans Pennine Trail from Hull to Maghull. One of the team is an ex-serviceman who served in the Gulf.
They started training in January and so far their rides are up to 24 miles. The challenge will require them to cover around 60 miles a day, over mountains and fells.
