Lawcris Panel Products recorded £1m of turnover during the third week of July, despite “difficult market conditions”.

An expanded product portfolio, including decorative goods, 24-hour warehouse operations, a fleet of new trucks and “the effort put in by sales staff” were cited by marketing manager Hal Eccles as reasons for the “record week”.

“We wanted to grow our product portfolio and, to ensure our staff could meet customer demands, we expanded our warehouse operations to increase efficiency,” said Mr Eccles. “With the effort of our sales team and the support of our customers, we were delighted to break all records by achieving a £1m sales turnover in one single week.”

Lawcris recently spent in excess of £600,000 on new trucks and fork lifts with the aim of “improving the reliability and quality of our delivery service”.
