Lignia is being used to fit out the Landmark offices of the US World Aid organisation in Bangkok.
Buildersmart Thailand, the Asian distribution and manufacturing partner of Fibre7 UK, is supplying the densified wood for use as solid wood flooring, stair treads, hand rails, veneered architectural wall panels and furniture.
The project is already under way and is expected to be handed over to the US World Aid team in December. Buildersmart is also using Lignia as the timber lining for its ALTI window system.
The deal has accelerated the Lignia veneer programme: panel boards with the Lignia safariwood finish will be available soon.
Meanwhile, Lignia engineered flooring will be available in the new year. The range will offer a single face 190mm wide flat cut board and a unique two-strip 190mm wide quarter sawn board, all made from FSC material.
