TimberWindows.com registered installer Duralife Windows Ltd has used the refurbishment of a period bungalow in Exeter to convert one building professional from PVCu to timber windows.
Duralife installed 24 flush casement windows and four doors at the property, which is owned by professional loft converter Derek Livesey.
Manufactured from meranti hardwood and supplied with a rustic oak finish, the windows “really bring out the best of the property”, said Duralife director Lance Wilkins.
Mr Livesey said that through his work in loft conversions he knew the window market. “In the past we advised our customers to have PVCu windows because timber windows always leak,” he said.
“These engineered timber windows are better than any others available for both durability and looks. In fact, we’ve been converted ourselves and will be recommending TimberWindows.com’s windows to our customers.”
