The event will see 20 timber professionals, ranging from traders to tree surgeons, battling it out across five disciplines to be named the best in the UK.
The competitors will go head-to-head in events testing their tree felling, cutting, limbing and ability to replace a chainsaw chain quickly, with the top three performers going on to represent the UK at the World Logging Championships.
Taking place at Fornside Farm near Keswick, spectators will be able to attend the second day of the competition when the two cutting, limbing and bar and chain contests will take place.
