Malaysia’s timber and wood-based product exports were worth M$1.3bn in January, 4.3% of the country’s total exports.
The most valuable export sector was electrical and electronic products at M$15.2bn, followed by palm oil and palm-based products at M$2.2bn.
January was the 63rd straight month Malaysia had registered a trade surplus.
