A Hull joinery company has now supplied 3,500 timber windows to properties owned by Manchester Housing.
Wright Joinery is in its third year of supplying factory finished and glazed windows to Manchester City Works, the council’s direct labour organisation. The criteria it has to meet include high security and good weather resistance.
The majority of its Secureframe windows are either casement or fully reversible units featuring PN hinges, specified where outside cleaning is a problem. They comply with the revised Part L of the Building Regulations and are accepted under the Secured by Design scheme.
Manchester Housing is one of the country’s largest landlords, with around 50,000 homes.
