Manley Timber Frame has expressed optimism about the build method’s prospects in Ireland after joining the Irish Timber Frame Manufacturers Association.

The company, based in Duleek, County Meath, said timber frame’s role in helping to achieve the governments’ energy efficiency and CO2 reduction targets had grown in importance despite the current downturn.

Director Damien Manley said association membership gave the company access to the necessary knowledge and training to help it supply customers with energy-efficient homes.
