The WWF is gearing up for the 10th anniversary of its 95+ Group, to be attended by minister for the environment Michael Meacher.
The London event, on November 23, will focus on the group’s successes, including the development of the Forest Stewardship Council, and the challenges ahead.
Catherine Graham, 95+ Group co-ordinator said: ‘The Group has achieved great things in its first 10 years, providing a market incentive for good management and independent certification of forests around the world. This event will provide an opportunity to celebrate and consolidate on this success and look to the future.’
The group is now made up of more than 100 companies and organisations, including most recently the Royal Institute of British Architects.
