A delegation from Moelven has visited Belgian hardwood importer Vandecasteele Houtimport.
The marketing delegation was given a tour of Vandecasteele’s Aalbeke site, where it saw how the operation was run, including storage of timber.
Vandecasteele, founded in 1883, keeps stocks across 16ha of undercover storage and specialises in tropical hardwood.
Earlier this year it achieved a West Flanders Sustainability Award for the eighth year in a row.
