Initial results show more than 4,000 people attended the inaugural Timber Expo last week.
And more positive feedback has been coming in from the organisers, with leading timber product distributor James Latham booking a 50% bigger stand for next year’s event.
“There has been a lot of high quality leads from people who are genuinely interested in timber and we have received a lot of enquiries,” said Chris Sutton, Lathams director.
Meanwhile, Timbmet marketing director Liz Richards said the company’s initial feedback was that the show attracted the “right audience” – a mix of existing and new customers.
Robert Bruce, director of MH Southern, reported a great number of visitors and quality leads, “which is the purpose of us coming to an event like this”.
