Leicestershire-based Neil Burke Joinery (NBJ) Ltd has acquired Rob Harwood Joinery, raising its production capacity to more than 22,000ft2.
The addition of Rob Harwood Joinery to its existing operations also increases NBJ’s workforce to 52 and sees Rob Harwood become production director at the Airfield Park site.
“The new workshop at Airfield Park gives us extended capacity and now, more than ever, NBJ can supply both individuals and commercial customers with a rang of tailor-made solutions,” said Neil Burke, managing director of NBJ.
“We look forward to continuing our work with our existing clientele, welcoming our new established customer base and meeting fresh clients with exciting projects.”
NBJ currently has contracts to supply and install 370 sets of external hardwood box sash windows and French door sets at the Royal Hospital Chelsea Infirmary building, as well as the manufacture and installation of all the joinery in the refurbishment of Cambridge University’s Corpus Christi College Library.
