The newly-formed North East Timber Trade Association (NETTA) is looking at ways of publicising its members and their products.

A public relations company has been invited to give a presentation to the association about the costs and implications of a publicity campaign.

NETTA chairman Richard Gore said: “We have a remit to publicise our members’ products in a generic way and a duty to inform them all of what is going on. We need to get our act together with better publicity.
