The partnership, a public/private group representing the timber growing and processing industries in the south-west, intends to award between one and three significant grants for investment.
Businesess will be expected to show their proposal is innovative in either technology or new markets and has a regional/national impact.
Grants will be a maximum of 50% of total costs and will be for investment in tangible assets only, not for revenue spend, replacement or renewal.
The partnership is mid-way through a scheme to invest £1m of funding into the forestry and timber sector.
The money forms part of the South West Regional Development Agency‘s Rural Renaissance Scheme.
All applications must be received by May 14. Further information is available from Jez Ralph on 01579 372100.
