Nexfor Inc is seeking to buy International Paper’s (IP) OSB business.
IP has three OSB operations – two in Texas and one in Georgia – and Nexfor says the acquisition would be consistent with its strategy to continue growing its OSB business.
Nexfor, which is North America’s largest OSB producer, has opened two new mills in in the past two years, in south Carolina and Alabama.
