The Award was presented to Karl Morris, managing director of Norbord Europe, and Maurice Fitzgibbon, the company’s sales director, by Peter Hindle, chief executive of Saint-Gobain Building Distribution UK & Ireland and Vince Fenson, Jewson procurement director.
"Jewson works with several thousand suppliers and four received an award on the evening – this is a clear sign that the Norbord/Jewson partnership is thriving," said Mr Morris.
"The success is principally due to our developing a service offer that reduces their costs, ensures stock is available in all branches all the time and removes the need for time consuming and costly manual administration of orders."
