Norvik Timber Industries is investing in a second sawmill at its Estonian Laesti business.
The first stage of the project in Pärnu will increase Laesti’s annual production to 80,000m³. It involves the purchase of land and new sawmilling equipment.
The new mill will primarily produce lumber from small diameter logs, while the existing mill continues with its current production.
Laesti’s main activities are production of sawn timber, drying, planing and treatment.
