A new company which specialises in sourcing and supplying high quality Norwegian timber windows and doors has been launched in Perth, Scotland.
The joint managing directors of Broxwood (Scotland) Ltd are Olav Skretteberg and Rognvald MacKelvie, both of whom have years of experience in the trade.
Formerly trading as Lyssand Ltd, Broxwood retains strong links with this Scandinavian supplier. However, as an independent company it can now go to a variety of assured manufacturers.
Broxwood has bought centrally located new premises in Perth, just off the M90 motorway and the two-storey building houses both administration and showroom facilities.
“Many of our products carry certification from internationally recognised schemes such as the Pan European Forest Certification Council. We find this increasingly important for architects and public sector providers such as schools and housing associations” |

Target markets include housing developers, housing associations, schools, healthcare and hotel sectors.
Mr Skretteberg said: “A key factor for many specifiers is the sustainability of building materials. All Broxwood products are manufactured from timber sourced from responsibly managed forests. In addition, many of our products carry appropriate certification from internationally recognised schemes such as Pan European Forest Certification. We find this increasingly important for architects and public sector providers such as schools and housing associations.”
