The housebuilder said deliveries had been 100% on time and met in full during the previous 18 months, according to its own audits of on-site targets.
Miller Homes divisional procurement manager Lee Gaskin said: “Just like in other areas of the construction industry, our sites rely heavily on efficient delivery scheduling of building products. Late deliveries or incomplete deliveries delay work and cost money.”
Hathaway & Hoyle spokesperson Craig Harris said: “This is a reflection of our policy that the person a customer talks to on the phone is the same person who takes responsibility for their order fulfilment.”
