An updated wood-based panels guide has been launched on the Timber Trade Federation‘s (TTF) website.
PanelGuide, which includes changes to codes and standards since its original publication in 2001, was prepared by the Wood Panel Industries Federation, the TTF’s National Panel Products Division, TRADA Technology Ltd and BRE.
The guide gives users and specifiers information and guidance on the types and technical properties of panels, as well as current UK and European legislation governing their use.
TTF chief executive John White said: “The end user will see from this guide, the amazing range and versatility of panel products available and the exciting uses to which they can be put.”
The guide, viewable at www.ttf.co.uk/buying/panel/, was co-funded by the Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions, through its Partners in Innovation programme.
