Timber frame specialist Pace Timber Systems won the Overall Business Excellence Award at the recent Milton Keynes & North Bucks Chamber of Commerce annual dinner and business excellence awards ceremony.
Pace Timber Systems has seen a fast rate of business development growth since it was established in January 2000.
It expects to supply the timber frame for 1,700 units by the year end, up from 850 units last year, and its Pace Timber Engineering operations have a projected total output of 3,000 trusses per week.
Group turnover is predicted to reach £16m this year. If achieved, Pace, which is made up of Pace Timber Systems, Pace Northern, Pace Timber Engineering and Dry Lining, will have enjoyed an eight-fold increase in turnover over two years.
Pace Timber Systems managing diector Phil Key said the business award was a tribute to the hard work, effort, dedication and enthusiasm of the Pace team.
Co-director Jason Pritchard said the company remains focused on ensuring that future growth and development continues to be achieved in a structured and controlled manner, without product quality and the ability to deliver on time being compromised.
