Engineered timber specialist Palgrave Brown has helped two site managers in the south-west pick up National House-Building Council (NHBC) awards.
The site managers, from CG Fry & Sons Ltd and McCarthy & Stone, received the NHBC’s Pride in the Job award for their work at developments in Exeter and Devizes respectively.
Both sites were served by Palgrave Brown’s Yeovil branch and Nick Fricker, the branch’s general manager, said it was “extremely pleased” to have worked with the winning sites.
“Our team is extremely pleased to have contributed to the success of our developer partners,” said Mr Fricker. “The awards acknowledge not just excellence in materials but also the contribution to performance of individual site managers and we regard these support services to be an equally important part of our total offering.”
The annual Pride in the Job awards reward site managers for “creating quality, beautifully finished new homes” and is “an integral part of NHBC’s role of helping to help raise standards for new home buyers”.
