The PSL façade, constructed by a team of 10 fourth-year diploma students, took centre stage at this year’s London Metropolitan University’s school of architecture and spatial design exhibition.
The structure was constructed to demonstrate how the lattice framework system and suspended polycarbonate screen could be extended to an entire building.
Students considered various timber options before contacting iLevel Trus Joist via one of its service partners, Crendon Timber Engineering.
The structure has now been dismantled and is due to be made into a bike shelter for the school.
