The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes (PEFC) Council has relocated to new offices in Geneva, Switzerland.

The new headquarters are in close proximity to the United Nations and International Environment House, which PEFC said would enable it to work more closely with key stakeholders involved with forests.

“PEFC’s relocation to Geneva expresses the commitment of the organisation to collaborate more closely with its stakeholders in international organisations, NGOs and other partners, and I am looking forward to engaging actively with these,” said recently appointed head of communications Thorsten Arndt.
