Peter Latham, chairman of James Latham plc, received his OBE at Buckingham Palace on February 29.
Mr Latham was presented with his medal by Prince Charles, who has great interest in sustainability and sustainable forestry.
Mr Latham was appointed an OBE in the Queen’s New Year Honours list in recognition of services to the wood industry. He was chairman of PEFC UK until his recent appointment to the organisation’s international board.
