Progressive Solutions marked a milestone last week with the official opening of Progressive House – its new 7,500ft² headquarters at the Heath Business and Technical Park in Runcorn.
At the opening, managing director Arthur Duffy told guests, who included former Conservative transport minister Steven Norris and Progressive Solutions Inc president and CEO Len Williams, the new premises were a statement of the company’s confidence and the success of its bisTrack software product.
Progressive Solutions’ UK operation was established in 2002 and was housed in one room in the business park. It now has 30 employees and more than 100 customers.
“We are now a true solutions provider to a lot of different companies,” said Mr Duffy.
Len Williams said Progressive Solutions was “here for the long haul”.
“We believe in customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction. When you get these together, the rest of it comes together,” he said.
Steven Norris described Progressive Solutions as “a business with a clear sense of where it’s going; a clear sense of the customer base”.
Acknowledging that the economy was unlikely to recover quickly, Mr Norris said that only the best companies would weather the current financial climate.
“Those businesses that survive have to be efficient, which means understanding every aspect of business. Control your costs, innovate and stay at the edge of the curb,” he said.
