AMA Research’s third edition of the Timber Merchants Market Report – 2011-2015.
The market was estimated to be worth £1.23bn in 2010, following an earlier decline of 12% in 2009.
“In 2010, although UK new housing starts increased to 141,000, a 32% increase compared to the previous year, this was still much lower than the 2007 level of 232,000,” said AMA.
