Södra has approved a SKr12m investment in an automatic sorting facility at its Unnefors pine sawmill.
The company said the equipment will improve quality sorting, “which will be a major plus for our customers”.
“We are seeing positive development in pine sawing in Unnefors,” said CEO Peter Nilsson.
“This investment will further enhance our competitiveness in that it will allow us to use our raw materials more effectively.”
The Unnefors mill produces 110,000m³ of pine annually.
